Founded in 1994, Mayhem Tattoo was born out of a passion for tattoos. 

Our founder, a skilled artist with years of experience, wanted to create a tattoo parlor that focused on quality, creativity, and comfort.  2020 Mayhem Tattoo, Salem NH was opened. 

At Mayhem Tattoo, we believe that every tattoo  should be a work of art. That's why we work closely with our clients to understand their vision and create custom designs that exceed their expectations.

Over the years, Mayhem Tattoo has received numerous awards for our exceptional work. We have been recognized for our creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.

Katie's journey with Mayhem started when she was just 15 years old. She began her career at the front desk and worked her way up to become a licensed artist after completing a traditional apprenticeship. Although she briefly left to gain more experience, she returned to Mayhem and is now an invaluable employee and "Member" of the business.  As the next in line to become the shop owner, Katie has big plans for the future and is excited to invite other talented artists to join the Mayhem family.

I've always been passionate about art, and I'm thrilled to have found a new medium to express myself: tattooing! My mentor, "Katie," has been an invaluable guide on this journey. As an apprentice, I'm starting out with tattoos that I feel confident in executing - mostly simple outlines for now. As I gain more experience and skill, I'll be taking on more complex pieces. Right now, I'm tattooing for tips, and I'm offering a free touch-up six months after the initial session. This gives me enough time to make sure your tattoo is perfect and something you'll be proud to show off. I can't wait to see where this art form takes me in the next few years!.
